Sending a Red Crescent helicopter to support firefighting operations in Shiraz

The executive director of the Red Crescent Society of Fars Province announced the dispatch of a helicopter of this society to support the firefighting operation and the transfer of forces in the fire incident in the green-clad heights of Shiraz.

According to the public relations of the Red Crescent Society of Fars Province; Hussein Darvishi said: “According to the law of the Sixth Plan, which defines the role of the devices in times of crisis, the role of the Red Crescent is support in the event of forest and pasture fires.”


Regarding the fire in the green heights of Shiraz, he said: “Considering that the fire is in the heights and the forces have to travel a long way to put it out, which causes them to get tired;” To this end, the Red Crescent has sent a helicopter to transport troops to the area.
The director of the Red Crescent Society of Fars Province added: “During the fire in the green heights, the helicopter of the Red Crescent Society transports the forces, and if there is a need for initial treatment or transfer of forces, this action will be done by the Red Crescent.”
